Please join us for our series of summer workshops at the Community Garden in Stranraer.  

 

Growing Veg through Winter

Learn how to extend your veg growing season, what crops to sow and when. We'll be making a seed bed in the Community Garden and sowing in pots in the polytunnel. 

 

Seed saving

Monday, 12 August, 1330-1500

Stranraer Community Garden polytunnel, by the Galloway Community Hospital

Learn how to save your own vegetable seeds. We'll be making seed envelopes, saving tomato seeds and processing a host of other seeds. Participants will get free seed to take home. Please bring A4 scrap paper and a clean, dry jar.
